O Sathi Re is a Bangladeshi film directed by Shafi Ikbal (Shafi Uddin Shafi), Shakib Khan and Apu Biswas in lead roles With Bappa Raj, Dany Sidak, Mizo Ahmed, Afjal Sharif play other important roles. Part of film was picturised in Thailand. The film was released on (EID) 21 September in 2009

Synopsis: Driver Hamid gave away his own life to save the great businessman Jafarullah Khan. Before his death Hamid gave his motherless son, Raja, to his master. As a sign of thankfulness, Mr. Khan brought Hamid’s orphant son home to raise him as his own child. Raj was well received by the old servant, Rahman, and also by Mr. Khan’s motherless daughter, Shathi. However, Khan’s only violent son, Danny, does not take Raj lightly. He hates Raj because of his poverty and he avoids any kind of contact with Raj. He cannot even tolerate Raj interacting with his sister Shathi.
Amongst these hundreds of odds, their love continues. One day in talks of their marriage it is said that if Raja wants to marry Shathi, he will have to become very rich. Since that day Raja moved to the city hoping to get rich. After moving to the city, one day he becomes very rich. Then he goes to meet Shathi but finds that she has already got married to someone else. This is how the plot of the story takes a turn to a different direction.
